The Stripology® Squared ruler has cutting slits every 1/2 inch so each strip you cut is the exact same size EVERY time!
Follow the easy-to-read markings: squares for 2-1/2 inch cuts and stars for 1-1/2 inch cuts – no math required! Cut five 2-1/2 or eight 1-1/2 inch strips without ever moving the ruler. The Stripology® Squared includes markings to square up half-square triangles, quarter-square triangles, and blocks in whole and half inch increments up to 12-1/2 inches.
The ruler slides easily over the fabric until pressure is applied. Then, the exclusive gripper holds the fabric in place while cutting, eliminating slipping and miss-cuts! This ruler comes with fully illustrated step-by-step instructions or watch Gudrun’s video tutorial. The Stripology® Squared Ruler is the perfect size to take to classes and retreats. For some inspiration and easy instructions we also have some books from Gudrun that specifically use these rulers. Of course, you can always use your other cutting rulers to continue cutting strips and units with these books. But if you want to get super accurate results then the Stripology rulers with their non-slip properties and accurate slots to use without moving the ruler are the way to go.
Rotary Cut Units are easily made using the Stripology rulers and I find I have less wastage from having to square up when I reposition or slip using my original cutting rulers. Stripology rulers for accurate cutting are definitely the way to go!
