It’s spring in Australia! Our crops are thriving right now with great anticipation of a good harvest in another 2 months time.
I don’t know about you, but when the sun comes out and warm fresh air is present to help everything grow (and dry clothes outside) then I really want to create something new. One of my most recent finishes is this Dragon panel that I recently purchased on a trip to Bunbury, WA and as soon as I saw it I just KNEW that my eldest daughter would love this for when my first grandchild was born. I chose to display it overlaid on this gorgeous wheat crop with all the vivid colours just making me feel happy and light and hopeful for the future.

My new grand daughter is now 2 weeks old and has more quilts gifted as well. I’ll tell you all about those next time… I can see she will be my inspiration moving forward!
