Light weight side quilting clamps that hold securely and evenly. SOLD AS A PAIR. These clamps are loved by longarmers because they hold the whole edge of the quilt steady and secure. Remember when choosing your length to allow enough wiggle room for you to move the machine over the edges to change the bobbin.
Note: they are stiff the first few uses but become easier with practice and use. Open and close them starting with one end and working toward the other. Watch the video here to see it done. It can seem tricky at first 😉
Be careful that you do not roll the quilt with the side quilting clamps attached. They are rigid and this will cause the clamp to split.
Renae Haddadin shows how to use Red E Edge clamps easily. This is a great way to hold the side of your quilt evenly. This clamp is different than the Red Snappers that attach the quilt to the frame. The two products work well together.
