These 1/8” thick design templates can be used to design endless quilting designs along with being used for applique and piecing templates.
Use them to draw on Hugs’n’Kisses Applique Paper to create iron on perfect hexagon templates for your piecing projects. Perfect for fussy cutting fabric pieces.
Each ring of the nested hexagons gives you the choice of drawing on the inside for your paper template or the outside on fabric. Use the ring for perfect fussing cutting placement.
• Use a hexagon to create the outer boundary of a feather hexagon wreath. The eye is drawn to the perfectly stitched circle and then you can put feathers/leaves around it stretching them out to the hexagon ‘boundary’.
• Using masking tape you can mark a ‘section’ of the hexagon to repeat in a border/sashing to create a unique space for freehand fillers.
• Use a circle on a hexagon and create some wonderful overlapping designs with secondary effects.
• Use a triangle or diamond with a hexagon to create unique divisions to fill with quilting designs.
