Shares with you another one of her secrets to successful quilting in this background frenzy video. Discover how to stitch 28 different designs that can be behind appliqué or larger stitching as an all-over design.
These are Pam’s favourite and most used designs for background quilting; these designs also work well in borders and as an all over design across a quilt top. You will find that most of these designs you can see and repeat without much practice. If needed, you can enlarge these designs 200% onto 11″ x 14″ paper, unthread your machine, and remove the bobbin. Using a small amount of basting spray, spray the back side of the paper and place it onto a practice muslin piece and practice the designs without thread, or place tracing paper over the design and practice with a pencil.
