Beginner Longarm Machine Quilting Workshops

A full days tuition that will guide you in starting your career in longarm machine quilting. From learning the different ways to how to load a quilt, dealing with piecing issues, order of quilting to understanding different backings,battings, threads & needles to use in different circumstances. You will be shown some simple freehand filler designs and the basics of using your laser light or pointer from the back of your machine to quilt a pantograph design.

Cost for 6 hour class $440- (one person) Maximum 2 people at $275-00 each

Intermediate to advanced Longarm Machine quilting workshops

A full days tuition from 9.30am -4pm on a huge array of areas of longarm machine quilting from beginner to intermediate to advanced owners. We will cover innovative background fillers, using templates, no math borders, sashings and designs for blocks. Also design concepts, reading fabrics and customers to determine options of quilting designs. A comprehensive notebook is included with a large number of resources researched included. A stitched sampler will be designed & partially completed in class with the student to complete on own familiar machine at home.

Fancy Feather Fiasco

A full day drawing and stitching heirloom style feathers in borders, sashings, blocks in unending variations!

Participants will be required to bring pencils/pens for drawing and one of those $2- large drawing pads. Other notes provided.

Tempting Templates

Time to dust off those templates & learn easy, efficient ways to use them to create original designs on customer’s quilts. Participants will be required to bring pencils/pens for drawing. Extensive class notes will be provided.
